Fred Erickson brings over 30 years of executive management and expertise to the overall operation of Restoration Ranch, Texas© where he serves as Chairman, Board of Directors. Serving as a volunteer with two other non-profit rehabilitative organizations for women, Fred has gained extensive experience helping those with addictive behaviors to find restoration through Biblical principles in a Christ-centered environment. He is a member of Great Hills Baptist Church where he serves on the Finance Committee and was formerly Chairman of the Missions Committee and Chairman of the Board of Deacons. He also currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees for Miracle Farm, in Brenham, Texas providing residential ministry to at-risk teenage boys.
Before coming to Restoration Ranch, Texas©, Fred was the co-founder and CEO of DRC Technologies, Inc. and responsible for the daily operations and program development for the company. Prior to DRC, he was a partner with the consulting firm of Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington D.C. He was also the founder and President of Booz Allen Hamilton Saudi Arabia, their Joint Venture Company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, Fred was Vice President and General Manager of McDonnell Douglas Services Company where he managed contracts for the maintenance and operational readiness of the Royal Saudi Air Force F-15 fleet. He also founded and served as President of McDonnell Douglas Arabia, another joint venture organization.
Fred has a distinguished service record in the U.S. Air Force where he was the squadron commander for one of two Operational Test & Evaluation Squadrons; a pilot with the USAF Thunderbirds and Chief of the Saudi Arabian Division for Foreign Military Sales in the Pentagon with programs valued more than $60 billion. Fred flew 250 combat missions in Vietnam and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and 14 Air Medals.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management and a Master of Business Administration. He is also a graduate of the Air War College, the senior U.S. Air Force professional military school. He is Chairman (Emeritus) of the American Businessmen’s Group in Riyadh and of the Board of Trustees for the Saudi Arabian International School Riyadh.
Fred is married to the former Frances Louise Vining of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They have one daughter, Jennifer, and a granddaughter, Savanah.
