Helen Edwards is one of the most trusted and knowledgeable leadership experts, primarily in the real estate space, in Texas and across the United States.
For 25 years, Helen led Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS — one of the most successful and widely recognized residential real estate franchises in the country — in a variety of executive positions.
Her stellar track record was rewarded with a promotion to company president, to oversee offices across Texas and in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. During that time period, the company operated 80+ offices with 4000+ agents and closed 24,000 transactions in 2014.
Her high standards of excellence were honored in 2001 when she was named REALTOR of the Year in Williamson County. She has a myriad of Coldwell Banker International awards to her name and one of those is the Chandler Barton Spirit Award. It is presented to the one individual annually who has met nearly unsurpassable challenges and succeeded.
A 2007 graduate of Leadership Austin, Helen also served on the Board of Directors of the Austin Board of REALTORS and chaired the Strategic Planning Committee of the Texas Association of REALTORS in 2009.
Following the NRT, LLC acquisition of Coldwell Banker United, REALTORS in April of 2015, she became President of the Austin-Houston operating company, 26 offices, and 1100 agents and served in that capacity through December of 2017.
Currently, Helen is following her true entrepreneurial calling and is a real estate business consultant and is the Director of Strategic Initiatives for C1 Insurance Group.
A passionate volunteer and two-time cancer survivor, Helen has served in many organizations over the past twenty years. Currently, she serves on the Area Board of the American Cancer Society South Region and will serve as Chair of the Board beginning in January 2020.
