Brief info

Pam and her husband have raised four daughters. They have faced many of the challenges that young women in today’s world face including depression, eating disorders, bullying, the death of a parent and the questioning of their faith.

Pam Rush received a Bachelor of Business in Finance from the University of Texas.

Pam moved to Georgetown almost 31 years ago and currently resides there with her husband, retired APD Lt. Mark Rush. Pam and her husband raised 4 girls. Young women and girls have been the focus of their world – from their daughters’ hobbies/sports/colleges/friends/boyfriends/and husbands to their personal emotional struggles – and ultimately, their victories. With their daughters, they have faced many of the challenges that young women in today’s world face including depression, eating disorders, bullying, the death of a parent and the questioning of their faith.

Pam’s professional career positions have included bank examiner for the OCC, a sales rep for a local women’s fashion designer, an account executive in public affairs and controller/human resources for a small family business. She is both an analytical thinker and empathetic which allows her to see the big picture.  And finally, her best position ever, “Nonna” to her two beautiful granddaughters who are 8 and 4 – the light of her life!
